Pastor Taraus D. Fuller was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and raised in Deerfield Beach, Florida.  Pastor Fuller is married to First Lady Traci Dixon Fuller and they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Triniti and Tori.

Having been reared by Christian parents, Reverend Dr. Henry E. Fuller (deceased) and Sister Marilyn Clark Fuller, Pastor Fuller was baptized at an early age and later rededicated his life to Christ.  Pastor Fuller is a graduate of Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, Florida.  He continued his academic endeavors at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology in 1998.

In 2004, he accepted the call to the ministry of proclamation.  That same year, he was licensed to preach by his father-in-law, the late Reverend Dr. Percy M. Dixon.  He decided to further his theological studies and deepen his faith by attending seminary.  In 2009, he was ordained by the late Dr. Mack King Carter and in 2011 he graduated from the Florida Center for Theological Studies in Miami, Florida with a Master’s of Divinity degree.

In 2005, Pastor Fuller became an Associate Minister at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL under the spiritual leadership of the late Dr. Mack King Carter.  He served in the capacity as an Adult Sunday School Leader, Discipleship Development Facilitator, Marriage Ministry Facilitator and Congregational Care/Visitation.   In 2010, Pastor Fuller was promoted as the Staff Minister of Children and Young Adults at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida under the spiritual leadership of Dr. Marcus D. Davidson.

With this charge, Pastor Fuller implemented and promoted several programs and ministries to New Mount Olive including “Kidz Korner” – New Mount Olive’s first Children’s Church.  Pastor Fuller also initiated AWANA – a fully integrated evangelism and long term discipleship program and international bible club – for the children and the community of New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.   Under Pastor Fuller’s distinct spiritual leadership at New Mount Olive the Young Adult Ministry increased and included a Young Adult Sunday School class, topical forums, community service projects, socials/fellowships and the annual Young Adult Ministry Weekend.

Pastor Fuller has a genuine passion for people.  His leadership skills continue to guide lay members to become actively engaged with serving in ministry.  He strives to enhance church leadership and laity by equipping them to grow spiritually and to serve to their full potential in God’s Kingdom.  His prayer guided goal is to bless someone and give that someone the tools they need in order to be a blessing to someone else!

Pastor Fuller firmly believes in the importance of faithful-biblical stewardship with treasures, time and talents.  During his tenure in the ministry, Pastor Fuller served as President/CEO of Creative Results, Inc., an independent insurance adjusting company for 9 years.  He believes that there are two very important keys to effective and efficient leadership:  accountability and productivity.  He begins and ends his day in the Word and knows that God’s Word is infallible in authority.

One of Pastor Fuller’s favorite passage is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.”  God has directed Pastor Fuller on his journey in the ministry and has equipped him to preach the Word in season and out of season.

This man of God and prolific preacher and teacher unashamedly proclaims the Word of God with power and integrity.  He is a biblical preacher who knows the LORD and the LORD knows him.  It is without doubt that Pastor Fuller has been prepared for such a time as this.  On December 27, 2015, he began his new assignment as Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama.  Pastor Taraus D. Fuller truly believes to whom much is given much is required.  He is an avid reader who enjoys exercising, fishing, riding his bicycle with his girls and spending time with his family and friends.
