PASTOR A.D. SHAW
Elder Antoine Deonardo Shaw was born in Anniston, Alabama to the proud parents of Bishop Larry and Lady Diane Shaw. As a young child reared in the church, Elder Shaw quickly recognized the call of God that was upon his life. He was saved at the age of 11, and he began his first work in the ministry by introducing his father to congregations as his father traveled across the country running revivals. Elder Shaw preached his first sermon at the age of 13, and God has been utilizing him to impart into the lives of many ever since.
Elder A.D. Shaw is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he obtained a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology. In 1999, he began his first pastorate at Evangel Temple COGIC in Lafayette, Alabama. As one of the fastest-growing churches in the Chambers Tri-City Area, he remained with the ministry until 2004. In the fall of 2004, at the request of his father, Elder Shaw moved to Hinesville, Georgia, to assist him in the ministry. In September of that year he was appointed Co-Pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle COGIC.
In 2007, Bishop Shaw was reactivated as an Active Duty Chaplain in the US Army and received military orders
to deploy to the country of Afghanistan. At that time, the full mantle of leadership for Full Gospel Tabernacle was passed to Pastor Shaw, and the anointing and favor of God has continued to demonstrate itself upon the ministry without fail. Since his appointment, Full Gospel Tabernacle has experienced revitalization in its approach to whole family ministry and taken a forefront approach to working with others in our community
to bring about change. His mission for Full Gospel has been noticeably expressed through his innovative ideas and his determination to impact our community.
Pastor Shaw is a people person and one who is never too busy for anyone that he meets. He is loved by many and respected by all who come in contact with his humble personality. Among his many accomplishments, Pastor Shaw experienced one of the greatest milestones in his life, when he married the woman of his dreams, the lovely Lady Quamea Elaine Shaw.
